Promotional Items

Do you have special deals that you want to advertise?

Have you thought of using counter cards? Placing a counter card at a till point or on a reception desk, anywhere where there is a steady stream of traffic can have a beneficial effect.
You don’t just have to be in retail to use a counter card, doctors and dentists can put them in their waiting rooms. No matter where the venue is, counter cards can effectively display your business’ sales and special deals. Not only will a well-designed counter card catch the attention of those nearby, but also it can be the incentive people need to take advantage of your great offers.

We’ve all been there. You’re standing at the checkout counter and waiting for the cashier to finish ringing up your purchase. With nowhere to go, those few moments are typically spent randomly fixating on whats in your line of sight, which is why counter cards should be a mandatory part of every retailer’s marketing plan.

Some of you may feel that once the customer is at the till point the goal is reached.  Why stop there? To keep your customers coming back for more, you need to grab their interest when marketing future deals and purchases. Counter cards are the perfect tools to do just that.

Do you want to promote lesser-known services and goods?

If you’re experiencing disappointing sales with a particular product or service, it may be because your advertising technique is not as effective as it could be. To make sure the public is aware of what you’re selling or an event that you may be hosting use counter cards or other promotional items such as bins, shelf edges or signage to highlight your full range of goods and services that you offer.

Are you trying to increase your social media presence?

Counter cards can be customized to fit every company’s needs. If your social media presence is stagnant or nonexistent, why not use counter cards to boost your fans and followers?

For many businesses, the difficulty in reaching customers through social media lies in not knowing how to tell them that you have a Facebook page or Twitter account. Having a counter card on your checkout counter or having a window sticker to catch their eye is the perfect opportunity to inform your customers of your social media outlets.

Tips for Creating Fantastic Brochures

Simple is Better

It can be tempting to overwhelm a brochure with images but that is counterproductive. Don’t over design them. Instead make sure that the font is readable and the design and colours are simple. The designs on the brochure should get and attract attention. But, it should direct that attention towards the message and the text.

Headlines

The headlines in your brochures must be meaningful and eye catching. People that read brochures are not settling down to read them like a novel. They are going to skim the brochures and the headlines will direct their attention. Make sure that the subheads underneath are filled with good information as well.

Use Clear Language

Stay away from using industry specific jargon. The language that you use must be clear and easy to understand. When writing the information, think about what you would tell someone if they asked you about your company. Keep that in mind as you write the text for the brochures. Confusing readers that are not familiar with the field is counterproductive.

Cover

People judge the brochure by its cover. People aren’t going to even glance twice at your brochure unless you are able to make the point. Make the point right on the front. In addition, include your logo. This shouldn’t take up the entire front. The bulk of the brochure should be the message and the images.

Finish

When creating fantastic brochures consider that the finish is important. For brochures, it’s ideal to stick with a glossy finish. It shows off photographs and images extremely well. Just as people like to flip through glossy catalogs, glossy brochures are just as appealing.

If you are looking to change your current brochure or develop something new then please do not hesitate to contact us here at Ashfield Printing where a member of our team will be more than willing to help.

Why Do You Need Envelope Printing?

Envelope printing can prove to be an indispensable part of your professional communications whether you’ve been in business for two weeks or 20 years. When it comes to running a successful company, the little things can make a big difference, which is why using personalised envelopes is so important. To better understand the ways that envelope printing can help your business, consider these reasons.

Legitimize your company. Scribbling your address on a plain white envelope won’t do much for your professional reputation. Of course, you must build your company’s name on other attributes such as having courteous service and quality goods, but envelope printing can also demonstrate to your customers and colleagues that you take your business seriously and they should, too.

Brand your business. Odds are that you have competitors vying for your customers’ business. So how can you make sure that prospective clients will choose you over the other guy who’s selling the same product? Many times it all comes down to how memorable your company is to customers. Branding often plays a large role in how others perceive your business, and customized envelopes can help craft your company’s image. Each time you send out your envelopes, you are giving your customers another chance to remember your name and your great service, making your letter stand out from the pile that's on their desk.
